About the Conference

The conference is jointly organised by International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH) and National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training (NCGRT) and follows strong UNSW participation at AGC2015 hosted by the Australian Academy of Sciences in Canberra. We expect over 400 water delegates from several countries. AGC2017 is sponsored by the UNSW School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and the Mine Water session is sponsored by the UNSW School of Mining Engineering – Australian Centre for Sustainable Mining Practices.

The AGC is held every two years, and the AGC2017 committee is led by the NSW Branch of the IAH with the NCGRT. We anticipate key roles for the Global Water Institute (GWI) and the UNSW Connected Waters Initiative Research Centre (CWI).
