A/Prof William Glamore appointed to expert panels
Asocciate Professor William Glamore was recently appointed by the NSW Minister for the Environment Matt Kean to Chair to the Tuggerah Lakes Expert Panel. The Tuggerah Lakes Expert Panel is a $200,000 initiative established as an independent advisory panel committed to identifying and understanding issues relating to Tuggerah Lakes, its estuary health and water quality.
A/Prof Glamore was also recently appointed to an Expert Working Group on Sustainable Oceans and Coasts. Organised via the Australian Academy of Science’s Future Earth program, the Sustainable Oceans and Coasts Initiative is set to develop a Ten-Year National Strategy to outline the steps needed to transform how we think about, govern and protect oceans and coasts across Australia. The strategy will serve as a blueprint for national transformational change.
