Fijian Government commends UNSW for their partnership

This was conveyed at a meeting held between the Permanent Secretary for Office of the Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Mr Yogesh Karan and the UNSW Institute for Global Development (IGD) Director Dr George Varughese at the Fiji Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) on 3rd November 2022.

The meeting took place as part of a week-long visit by a UNSW delegation that included UNSW Global Water Institute Director Professor Greg Leslie. The delegation, led by UNSW IGD, met with Fijian Government officials, United Nations representatives and local universities to develop strategic partnerships and opportunities for accelerating sustainable development in the Pacific.
